Awareness Training Program on Organ and Tissue Donation at ORBO, AIIMS New Delhi
ORBO at AIIMS, New Delhi, conducted a mandatory training program for Nursing Officers under the theme ‘Angdaan Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyaan’ to enhance awareness of multi-organ and tissue donation.
The program covered crucial topics such as the ‘Diagnosis and Certification of Brain Stem Death Criteria’, ‘Donor Screening & Maintenance’, and Legal aspects of organ donation.
With 40 participants, the training emphasized the role of nurs ing officers in facilitating deceased organ and tissue donation.
This initiative reflects ORBO’s commitment to educating healthcare professionals to promote organ donation, ultimately aiming to save lives.
