Organ Donation – Nursing Officer Training Programme

Organ Retrieval Banking Organization (ORBO) is the nodal facility at AIIMS facilitates the entire process of cadaver organ and tissue donation, from procurement of organ and tissues till transplantation.
However, the true unsung heroes who make these endeavors a reality are the donors and their families who had taken the brave decision of giving the precious gift to those patients who are in need of organ.
ORBO organized a “Donor Felicitation Programme” on 1st August 2025 at Dr. Ramalingaswami Board Room, AIIMS, New Delhi under the theme “Angdaan – Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyan” to pay tribute to our organ donors for their selfless sacrifice towards serving the humanity and honour the families who created the legacy of organ donation by consenting for organ and tissue donation of their relative after the demise.
