Donor Families and Organ Retrieval Banking Organization (ORBO) were honoured by Sh. Ghulam Nabi Azad Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare on 6th World Organ Donation Day and Ist Indian Organ Donation Day on 27-28 November 2010 at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi

A tribute to Life

A book titled ‘A Tribute to Life’ was released by Union Health Minister Sh. Ghulam Nabi Azad at Nirman Bhawan on 3rd May 2011. The book is a compilation of experiences of all families who agreed to donate organs of their loved ones to the Organ Retrieval Banking Organization (ORBO) at AIIMS, a wing that co-ordinates organ donation and banking.
